Sustainability Manager with focus on NKG Verified (f/m/d).

In this role, you will be part of our Sustainable Supply Chain Standards team and lead the further development of our in-house internal verification scheme, NKG Verified, and oversee its global implementation, working with colleagues across the world.

Your responsibilities

1. Pro-active : You drive the further development of NKG Verified continuously looking for improvements and synergies with other certifications, regulatory and industry requirements, and local realities to increase efficiency and impact.
2. Results-driven : You manage our internal monitoring and reporting of KPIs related to NKG Verified and streamline and improve processes where appropriate.
3. Organized : You keep track of the global status of our NKG Verified supply chains, ensuring deadlines are met.
4. Attentive to details : You ensure all requirements of NKG Verified are met coherently across our export operations, including documentation of internal and external audits, policies and entity lists, upholding the quality and credibility of NKG Verified.
5. Service-oriented : Working in the holding, your key customers are our NKG’s group companies; you improve our communication, develop learning materials and tools to ensure our colleagues have all they need to implement NKG Verified in the field and stay up to date with any changes.
6. Flexible : You contribute to achieving the objectives of your team and take on additional responsibilities, such as strengthening NKG’s human rights due diligence system, designing or managing projects to address key sustainability criteria such as human rights, working conditions and use of pesticides, or participating in multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Your profile

1. Education: University degree in Business Administration, Sustainability Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
2. Background: You possess several years of significant professional experience in Certifications, ideally with implementing certified supply chains at origin. Your expertise includes the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, coupled with strong project management skills. Knowledge of GCP equivalence mechanism is a plus.
3. Personality: You are analytical, detail-oriented, service-minded, empathetic, and open to working in a multicultural environment.
4. Internationality: You demonstrate strong intercultural skills and fluent English communication skills; Spanish, Portuguese, and German are a plus.
5. MS Office: You have a good command of the MS Office package, especially Excel.
