At the Department of Artificial Intelligence, we are looking for an experienced robot object manipulation engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++, object-oriented programming, robotics, and ROS. They will also have experience with grasp generation, robot kinematics, and classic and deep-learning based grasp generations.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing algorithms for robot object manipulation.
- Creating and testing grasps for a variety of objects in simulation and using a real robot.
- Working with other engineers to develop and integrate robot hardware and software using ROS.

- Master\’s or PhD degree in robotics, computer science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in robot object manipulation.
- Implement low-latency and high-performance software prototype modules in C++ and Python.
- Sound experience with grasp generation.
- Experience with robot hardware and software using ROS.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You have a perfect command of the English language and, best of all, speak German well.
