About The Role

We are looking for a leader who combines deep technical understanding of engineering workflows with the strategic vision and influence to drive large-scale AI transformation in some of the world's most sophisticated engineering organizations.

This role sits at the intersection of technical credibility and commercial strategy.

As SE Lead, you will own the pre-sales motion on the region's most strategic accounts — leading discovery, shaping transformation plans alongside Sales, and delivering the technical vision that convinces both engineers and executives that NC is the right long-term partner.

You will also build and develop the regional SE team, setting the bar for what excellent pre-sales work looks like: rigorous discovery, technically grounded statements of work, and demos that don't just impress but inspire confidence in a real engineering future.

Your work will directly shape how Neural Concept wins in the region.

What You'll Do

• Position NC as a long-term strategic partner and trusted engineering advisor on the region's most strategic accounts, building trusted relationships with engineering leadership and senior stakeholders
• Lead structured discovery sessions on strategic accounts, framing use cases that are technically feasible and commercially grounded
• Define the AI strategy and technical roadmap across the regional portfolio, translating NC's capabilities and product direction into credible, customer‑specific multi‑horizon visions
• Create and deliver compelling, client‑tailored demos and presentations grounded in the client's engineering workflows, technically credible and aligned with the vision
• Create and co‑own the Statement of Work, with deep understanding of the technical building blocks and how these transform the client's existing workflows
• Prepare and run Steering Committees on strategic accounts, connecting engineering challenges to strategic outcomes
• Identify expansion and growth opportunities across the regional portfolio, and shape them into well‑scoped proposals
• Lead and develop the regional SE team, setting high standards for discovery quality, demo impact, and So W accuracy; orchestrate account assignment, manage capacity, and serve as the escalation point on the region's most complex deals
• Collaborate with the Sales team to advance and close strategic deals, with the Forward Deployed Engineering team to ensure smooth pre‑sales to delivery transitions, and surface client insights to Product and R&D to inform roadmap priorities

Who You Are

• You hold an engineering degree (mechanical, aerospace, automotive, industrial, or similar) and have strong hands‑on experience with CAD and CAE workflows, including where bottlenecks lie and what it takes to transform those workflows with AI
• You are naturally curious and people‑driven.

You earn trust at every level, from simulation engineers to VPs, through genuine interest in their challenges and make people feel understood

• You are proactive and commercially driven. You move accounts and teams forward without being asked, spot opportunities early, and bring structure to ambiguous situations
• You are a confident challenger.

You ask uncomfortable questions, reframe assumptions, and guide both clients and your team toward better outcomes even when it requires pushing back

• You are an outstanding communicator: equally comfortable in a hands‑on technical deep‑dive with simulation engineers and a strategic roadmap discussion with a VP of Engineering or CTO
• You are a proven people leader.

You build high‑performing teams, elevate individual performance, give honest feedback, and create the environment where SEs do their best work and grow fast

• You have 8+ years of experience in a senior technical client‑facing role: solutions engineering, pre‑sales, technical consulting, or similar, with a track record on complex, high‑value accounts
• Professional fluency in German and English.
• What Will Set You Apart
• You have hands‑on simulation experience: full pipelines from CAD to post‑processing, solver experience, and workflow automation
• You are a strong programmer: you write clean Python, build data pipelines, and are comfortable in ML/DL frameworks including model training, evaluation, and deployment
• You can go deep in technical discovery: dive into customer toolchains, data environments, and simulation setups to assess feasibility at the level a simulation engineer would respect
• You can build end‑to‑end engineering workflow demos from scratch, rapidly prototyping the full arc from design generation and simulation to application deployment
• You have experience structuring and proposing enterprise transformation programs, not just individual projects but multi‑year adoption roadmaps
• You have experience building or leading technical pre‑sales or solutions engineering teams, or come from a strategic or technical consulting background.
