To strengthen our team in Linz, we are looking for a dedicated individual to fill the position of:
IT Administrator (m/f/d) Here are the tasks you can expect
First- and second-level support for our employees regarding hardware and software issues (on-site and remotely)
Administration and further development of the virtualization environment based on VMware (vSphere/ESXi)
Management of backup and recovery solutions using Veeam, including regular recovery tests
Operation and administration of server and client environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365)
Management and maintenance of the network infrastructure (LAN/Wi Fi, VPN, firewall, switching)
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and end devices (clients, printers, mobile devices)
User and Permissions Management, Including Onboarding and Offboarding
Participation in IT security, data protection, and data backup measures
Monitoring the systems and ensuring stable, secure IT operations
Maintenance, creation, and ongoing optimization of IT documentation
Collaboration on IT related projects and implementation of new solutions
Liaison with line departments on IT related projects
Point of contact for external IT service providers and coordination of collaboration
What You'll Bring to the Table
Completed IT education (apprenticeship, HTL, university of applied sciences, university) or comparable relevant professional experience
Several years of experience in system administration and/or IT support is a plus
In depth knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/ESXi) is a plus
Knowledge of backup solutions, ideally Veeam Backup & Replication
Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, firewalls, switching) is a plus
Experience in client and endpoint management (Windows 10/11)
A structured, solution oriented, and independent approach to work
A strong commitment to service and customer satisfaction, as well as the ability to work well with others
Excellent German and good English skills

The minimum gross annual salary for this position is
€50,000.00
(full time basis-38.50 hours). Depending on your professional qualifications and experience, we are willing to offer a competitive salary above market rate.
