Supply Chain Manager M/W

Following a new contract opening in October 2025 with a major client, Newrest is looking for a new talent to join a growing Supply Chain team and be part of the country\’s growth.

Under the responsibility of the Unit Manager and managing up to 5 storekeepers, based in Munich, the Supply Chain Manager is in charge of:

1. Monitoring supply chain strategies to align with global market trends,
2. Collaborating with the Purchase Manager to source, engage, and evaluate suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery,
3. Overseeing the company\’s purchasing activities to ensure the timely acquisition of goods at optimal prices,
4. Supervising inventory to maintain a balance between optimal stock levels and minimized holding costs,
5. Analyzing and refining procurement costs to identify avenues for cost reduction and efficiency improvements,
6. Working with internal stakeholders to project demand and ensure supply chain readiness,
7. Leading initiatives to enhance supply chain and procurement efficiency, agility, and sustainability,
8. Ensuring purchases are made on time,
9. Managing cost aspects by buying the right products in the right quantities,
10. Ensuring deliveries align with orders,
11. Managing the supply chain organization, including the warehouse in Munich.
