Under the supervision of the Deputy General Manager, and supervising the full HR team, the HR Manager takes full responsibility for handling the Human resources for Newrest Germany representing 200+ employees with a focus on payroll, labour law and recruitment.
Responsibilities
- HR management: Responsibility for the entire employee lifecycle – from recruitment to departure.
- Recruitment: Planning and implementation of job advertisements, interviews and onboarding processes.
- Employee support: contact person for all HR-related questions and advising managers on employment law issues.
- Personnel development: Identification of training needs and organization of further training measures to promote employee skills.
- HR strategy: Developing and implementing strategies to promote the corporate culture and goals.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with labor law requirements and internal guidelines.
- HR administration: Managing and maintaining personnel files, contracts and payroll in collaboration with the accounting department.
- Reporting: Creating HR reports and KPIs to analyze and optimize HR processes.
Profile
- Position located near Frankfurt airport
- Training/studies: Degree in business administration, personnel management or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience: Several years of experience in a comparable position, ideally in an international environment.
- Sound knowledge of German labor law and payroll accounting.
- Experience with HR software, such as Rexx, Visma or Kelio, an advantage.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
- Ability to think strategically and implement operationally.
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
