Your role
We are looking for a Logistics Manager. You will report to the Unit Manager/Deputy Unit Manager.
Key responsibilities
Operational Management Follow up on all operational aspects of the logistic chain which is: Warehouse: Order, reception and issuing of goods in Warehouse, Pick and pack: Preparation of the flights in Pick and pack Equipment: Preparation of the flights in Equipment Dishwash: Washing the inbound flights in Dishwash and preparing the kittings for rotable production and dotation, on top of the kitting disposable Deep cleaning: Respect of the deep cleaning schedule in the unit Cost reduction by controlling the stock value, suppliers used, forecast, flow management and subcontracting. Anticipate the critical events that could impact the operations. Identify the needs in resources by working closey with the manager of these departments Distribute responsibilities among the team to ensure deadlines compliances and respect of the performance KPIs(Customer satisfaction,QHSE indicator, OTP, Productivity Food cost, Maintenance cost, Material cost) Conduct frequent audit to ensure compliance in the processes. Realize root cause analysis and use it to solve potential operational failures. Be a leader for the team of logisitc by involving all the member. Ensure the respect of Newrest Germany commitment towards his customers. Lead the continuous improvement approach your perimeter.
HR Management
Oversee the coordination and administrative management of staff in their department using dedicated IT tools (scheduling, tracking of work hours, and handling of irregularities). Develop staff schedules (permanent and temporary employees) based on departmental needs using the software and in accordance with current regulations. Forward relevant information to site management (sick leave, vacation request forms, medical visits, attendance sheets, schedules, etc.). Ensure the smooth operation of the department by complying with all applicable regulations and company agreements (break times, weekly rest periods, working time agreements, vacation scheduling) Management Lead a team and ensure its professional development and efficiency. Conduct performance reviews and, when necessary, disciplinary interviews. Manage a team by ensuring compliance with issued guidelines and current procedures. Ensure the integration of new temporary and/or permanent employees. Ensure that company and Newrest procedures are properly understood and applied. Collaborate and communicate with teams to ensure team cohesion.
Ensure that reports regarding incidents involving Newrest equipment are prepared (vehicles, phones, printers, etc.).
Hygiene, safety, quality and security
Ensuring that operations teams comply with the Group's hygiene and safety regulations as well as HACCP standards ans Newrest group procedures. Apply and enforce hygiene and food safety principles (including HACCP and internal non-negotiable standards), ensuring proper handling, storage, transportation, and traceability of products. Ensure all PPE are wear consistently and properly Apply and enforce our allergens policy Maintaining and servicing the production equipment and vehicle fleet while using group tools (Fractal or other) Ensure the smooth running of all hygiene and quality audits within your area of responsibility (Intertek for Instance) Mastering and enforcing all Newrest group procedures as well as those specific to our clients (COBM) Ensure strict compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards, as well as all applicable food safety, security, and regulatory requirements related to the activity. Actively contribute to a safe and secure working environment by identifying risks, reporting incidents, and implementing appropriate preventive and corrective actions. Promote a strong QHSE culture (I CARE), ensuring adherence to procedures, clear communication of guidelines, and effective use of company tools and systems. Ensure that all the rules and regulations towards security supply chain are in place for you and your teams according to the company rules and policy.
Qualifications
Minimum college degree, or skills acquired via job experience
Experienced in working with computers & different programs (MS Office etc.)
Languages
Fluent in English
