  • QHSE Compliance and Management:

    • Oversee and maintain the company’s QHSE requirements according to the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System.
    • Conduct pre-opening risk assessments for Health Act compliance, HACCP, and company standards.
    • Conduct planned and reactive QHSE audits and risk assessments across all sites to promote safety and minimize risks.
  • Training and Awareness:

    • Develop and regularly update QHSE, Food Hygiene, and HACCP training materials.
    • Deliver in-house training for Food Hygiene, QHSE induction, and HACCP management across all operational divisions.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and manage the in-country QHSE team, ensuring competencies are maintained and developed.
    • Act as the primary interface for external auditors, team members, and appointed suppliers.
  • Reporting and Communication:

    • Provide monthly reporting on key metrics, including man-hours, LTIF, and TRIR.
    • Ensure regular communication with the General Manager, Operations Manager, and Heads of Departments regarding compliance, risks, and non-conformance issues.
  • Supplier & Contract Management:

    • Assist in developing supplier pre-listing criteria and oversee supplier audits for approval.
    • Conduct audits and inspections on subcontractors to ensure QHSE, Food Safety, and Journey Management standards are upheld.
  • Crisis Management:

    • Address any crises related to employee safety, food contamination, and environmental contamination swiftly and effectively.
  • Must be located near Frankfurt (No work from home)
  • Full-time job from Monday until Friday
  • Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Technology, Environmental Health, or Science with a higher certificate in food premises inspection.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a QHSE officer or similar role, ideally with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and HACCP expertise.
  • Prior experience in a full-service organization or similar QHSE role is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing QHSE and HACCP training.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with QHSE management software is a plus.
