We’re looking for a QA Engineer (Data & Analytics) to join the client’s team — someone who goes beyond basic UI checks and focuses on validating the core business logic behind their platform. You’ll ensure the accuracy of data pipelines, financial calculations, and attribution models, working closely with Product Managers and Developers to keep the client’s analytics dashboards precise, stable, and fast. This is a hybrid role in Malaga (Spain). We welcome candidates from anywhere in Europe who are open to relocation.
Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Execution: Design, implement, and execute test plans for our web application, focusing on Data Integrity, Model predictions, Agent recommendations etc…
- Data Validation: Compare our data with external sources (Seller platforms, 3rd party SaaS etc…) making sure it is coherent
- Logic Verification: Manually and automatically test complex mathematical formulas (e.g., Gross Profit, ROAS, TACoS) to ensure accurate P&L reporting
- Automation: Contribute to our automated testing framework (Github Actions/Playwright/Selenium) to cover critical regression paths
- Bug Hunting: Identify, record, and track bugs using Jira. Prioritize issues based on impact on financial accuracy and user experience
- Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate with an international team of developers to reproduce issues related to time zones, currency conversions, and large datasets
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (Web & SaaS)
- Strong knowledge of SQL. Comfortable querying databases to validate test results (e.g., checking if the Profit calculation matches the Revenue minus Expenses in the DB)
- Experience with API testing (Postman, REST) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience writing or maintaining automated scripts (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python preferred)
- Strong English communication skills
- Mindset: Extreme attention to detail
Will be a plus
- Domain Knowledge: Experience working with Amazon Seller Central, Amazon SP-API, or generally in the E-commerce/AdTech space
- Financial/Ad Experience: Understanding of concepts like PPC, CPC, ACOS, VAT, and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)
- Math/Stats Background: A degree or background in mathematics, statistics, or finance is a huge plus.
