Nexburg is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/x) in Aachen to join our QA team at the earliest opportunity, contributing to testing, process improvement, and product quality assurance.
- Set up test systems (hardware / virtualized) in complex network structures so that they are ready to perform test cases
- Set up and run tests in line with test specifications and takeappropriate actions (i.e. passing the test, raising a defect)
- Create test cases which cover functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability, and security of the software to a sufficient degree
- Write manual, preferably automated test cases in line with a specification to test a piece of functionality and checkambiguities in tests with Development
- Contribute to technical risk reviews, analyzing test coverage against functional specifications for component changes
- You have a Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and several years of working experience in test automation using Python
- You are experienced in Linux operating system (RHEL, RockyOS) and confident in networking (protocols, wireshark, OpenSSL)
- Knowhow in Test Management Tools (i.e. TestLink) is required
- Beneficial: ISTQB certification & UI testing (Squish)
- Fluent English language both written and spoken
