Nexent Bank (Suisse) SA is a Swiss bank specialized in Trade Finance, Commodity Finance, and Corporate Banking. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Compliance Officer KYC & Transaction Due Diligence to strengthen our Compliance Department on a fixed-term basis for 18 months .

Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Compliance Department, you will play a key role in safeguarding the Bank against regulatory, legal, and reputational risks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing KYC and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for corporate and financial institution clients.
- Conducting onboarding and periodic KYC reviews.
- Assessing client structures, including ownership, control, and risk considerations.
- Reviewing account opening documentation, including CDB, CRS and FATCA documentation.
- Preparing compliance recommendations for Management and relevant committees.
- Organizing and documenting High-Risk Client Committee meetings.
- Conducting compliance monitoring and periodic controls.
- Supporting transaction due diligence activities, including analysis of sensitive or high-risk transactions.
- Performing sanctions and adverse media research using dedicated screening tools and public sources.
- Supporting regulatory reporting activities and other compliance-related projects.
- Assisting in maintaining compliance with Swiss AML, sanctions, and regulatory requirements.
Your Profile
- University degree in Law, Compliance, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in KYC, AML, Compliance, or Financial Crime within a banking environment.
- Good knowledge of Swiss AML regulations and sanctions frameworks (FINMA, AMLO, CDB, OFAC, EU, UK and SECO sanctions).
- Understanding of complex corporate structures and beneficial ownership analysis.
- Knowledge of Trade Finance transactions is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
