About the role
As a Product Quality Engineer, you will be expected to step into the game and display your excellent quality mindset to help drive our innovations beyond industry standards
What you will do
- Represent the Quality Management within the development team
- Correlate the SiC failure mechanisms with reliability measures to be implemented into the product quality
- Support the definition and execution of qualification activities for SiC product developments
- Contribute to the implementation of quality procedures and quality standards (Nexperia, JEDEC, AEC, and customer-specific) within projects
- Support the development, review, and verification of final test specifications
- Promote quality awareness and best practices to internal and external stakeholders
- Support customer requests and complaints handling activities
- Contribute to the identification and resolution of quality gaps in the product creation process
- Support the definition of qualification requirements and qualification of manufacturing processes
- Maintain documentation and handle data in analysis tools for Reliability, Yield, FMEA, Customer Requests, and related activities
- Perform analyses to identify root causes of yield loss or production issues and support the implementation of containment and corrective actions
- Prepare initial input for PCNs, support review and release activities, and contribute to follow-up actions
What you will need
- Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics or a similar discipline
- Experience in a similar position is desirable and experienced in wafer fab and assembly processes preferred
- Knowledge in semiconductor physics as well as in semiconductor applications in the SiC domain
- First knowledge of international quality standards and policies e.g. AEC-Q101, AQG 324
- Familiar with measurement methods and equipment as well as device testing environments
- Familiar with standard software tools (e.g. Office), problem solving techniques
- High-quality mindset and ability to work under pressure
- Fluent spoken and written English skills
- Strong know how in statistical data analysis
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good team player and willingness to travel
- Assertiveness and demonstrated influencing skills
- Open mindset, which welcomes changes and views problems as opportunities
