Ensure occupational safety within the Waferfab organization and adjacent areas.

Member of the safety working group.

Development and tracking of department-specific occupational safety goals.

Monitoring compliance with internal regulations.

Coordination of safety officers within the area.

Support supervisors in occupational health and safety measures.

Creation, implementation, and participation in occupational safety training.

Involvement in systemic audits and addressing work points.

Leading occupational safety projects.

Fire protection officer for the Waferfab in Hamburg.

Training as a specialist in explosion protection.

Coordination of explosion protection inspections and measures.

Coordination of the education and further training of internal qualified personnel in explosion protection.

Creation and maintenance of explosion protection documents.

Ensuring compliance with legal requirements as well as internal / external regulations.

Coordination of maintenance and service work.

Coordination of TÜV inspections according to DGUV I 205-026 and briefing of external personnel.

Project coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Point of contact for the installation of necessary CO2 fire suppression systems.

Implementation of requirements and occupational safety projects.

Advising employees on occupational safety topics.

Collaboration with the works council and safety coordinators.

What you will need

Masters Degree in Chemistry, Physics or Engineering.

Min. 5 years professional experience in the field of occupational and plant safety – preferably in semiconductor manufacturing or chemical industry.

Training as specialized safety worker \“SIFA\“ available / or willingness to bring along for training.

Training as an explosion protection specialist / fire protection available / or willingness to provide training.

Commitment, readiness, ability to work in a team.

Analytical thinking skills.

Creativity.

Planning and organizational skills as well as communication skills.

Fluent in German and good English skills, both written and spoken.

Very good Microsoft Office skills.
