The Opportunity

An international organisation is looking to appoint an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Platform Architect to take a leading role in the strategic development, architecture and optimisation of its global HR technology landscape.

This is an opportunity for an experienced SuccessFactors professional looking to move beyond traditional consulting or system administration into a position with greater technical ownership, architectural responsibility and influence over long-term HR IT strategy.

Working closely with global HR, IT leadership and external technology partners, you will help shape the future of the organisation's SuccessFactors environment, ensuring scalability, integration, security and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Take architectural ownership of the global SAP SuccessFactors platform, ensuring its stability, scalability and long-term development.

• Define and maintain platform architecture principles, technical standards and integration strategies.

• Lead architectural decisions across SuccessFactors modules, with particular emphasis on Employee Central and the wider HR technology ecosystem.

• Work closely with global HR stakeholders to translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions.

• Oversee integrations between SuccessFactors, SAP and third-party applications.

• Evaluate proposed system enhancements, new functionalities and technology developments.

• Provide technical guidance to internal teams, implementation partners and external service providers.

• Support global HR transformation initiatives, platform improvements and future deployment projects.

• Ensure appropriate governance across system security, data management, compliance and platform performance.

• Act as a senior technical advisor to HR IT leadership on architectural decisions and future technology investments.

Your Experience

• Extensive professional experience with SAP SuccessFactors in an international enterprise environment.

• Strong understanding of SuccessFactors architecture, particularly Employee Central and its integrations.

• Experience designing, implementing or governing complex HR IT solutions.

• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies, APIs and cloud-based application landscapes.

• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence technical decisions.

• Experience working with external implementation partners and cross-functional teams.

• Strong understanding of HR processes, system governance and enterprise architecture principles.

• Excellent communication skills in German and English.

• Ability to balance strategic architecture responsibilities with practical technical problem-solving.
