You will join a high-performing Finance Systems team and take overall technical responsibility for the organisation’s modern SAP platform landscape (S/4HANA). In this central role, you will act as the key interface between SAP Basis, development teams, and external partners. The organisation is investing heavily in its SAP transformation journey — including RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, Fiori, and modern integration technologies — and you will play a leading role in shaping the future architecture. Key Responsibilities Own the technical responsibility for the SAP platform (S/4HANA) with a strong focus on stability, security, performance, and scalability. Lead and manage technical SAP projects such as PI/PO replacement, RISE cloud migration, or the rollout of new SAP BTP components. Develop and continuously refine the organisation’s SAP technical roadmap, including the operating model, architectural principles, and clean-core strategy. Act as the internal coordination lead for technical topics across Basis, development, and interface teams, while serving as the main contact for external service providers. Evaluate and advise on emerging SAP technologies (SAP BTP, AI services, Integration Suite, etc.) to support long-term architectural decisions. Provide hands‑on support for implementations and serve as a technical point of expertise for development topics such as CDS, OData, and Fiori. Your Profile Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification. 7+ years of experience in SAP technology, ideally covering SAP Basis, S/4HANA, and cloud infrastructure. Strong knowledge of RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, and the SAP Integration Suite. Solid understanding of modern SAP development technologies (Fiori, OData, CDS, RESTful ABAP). Strong architectural mindset with experience in operating models, clean-core principles, and SAP Activate methodology. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in an international, cross‑functional environment. Fluent in German and English.
