Are you a Manager, Senior Manager or experienced Consultant in Data & AI consulting looking for more ownership, entrepreneurial freedom and the opportunity to build something?

We’re working with a growing technology consulting firm helping organisations build the data foundations they need for AI, digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.

We’re looking for a Senior Manager / Team Lead – Data & AI Solutions who can combine strong data expertise with client advisory, engagement leadership and commercial acumen.

This role is particularly suited to someone coming from a Big 4 or leading consulting environment who is ready to move beyond delivering projects and take ownership of a specialist proposition, client relationships and ultimately a team.

What you’ll do

You’ll operate across strategy, delivery, client advisory and business development, including:

• Lead Data & AI transformation engagements for clients across industries
• Develop data strategies, operating models and governance frameworks
• Assess clients’ data readiness and data maturity for AI and digital transformation
• Advise senior business and technology stakeholders on data-related transformation
• Translate complex business challenges into practical data and technology solutions
• Lead project teams and take ownership of successful engagement delivery
• Support and lead pre-sales, proposals and RFPs
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships
• Develop and articulate new Data & AI offerings and propositions
• Take ownership of a defined specialist topic and build market traction around it
• Help shape the company’s Data & AI practice
• Recruit, develop and ultimately build a high-performing specialist team

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in professionals with +4 years of experience in consulting, data transformation, Data & AI or a closely related field.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Ideally experience from a Big 4, strategy/technology consultancy or comparable consulting environment
• Strong experience in Data Strategy, Data Transformation and/or Data Governance
• Understanding of data requirements for AI adoption and digital transformation
• Experience with data quality, data readiness, data maturity or data fitness
• Exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric
• Experience leading workstreams, projects or client engagements
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience contributing to or leading pre-sales, proposals and RFPs
• Ability to connect business strategy, data and technology
• Strong commercial awareness and an interest in business development
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent German and English

You don’t need to be a pure technologist. We’re particularly interested in people who can bridge business, consulting and technology and turn complex data challenges into clear, actionable solutions.
