Position Summary
This role is ideal for an experienced architect with strong hands‑on knowledge of Master Data Governance (MDG) in life sciences, especially within domains such as Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Healthcare Organisations (HCOs). You will be responsible for leading the strategy, assessment, platform selection, and migration for MDG transformations, with a specific focus on modern, cloud‑based platforms such as Veeva Network, Reltio, or Informatica Cloud MDG.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate current‑state MDG systems and assess legacy technologies, governance structures, and data models
- Design scalable, compliant, and future‑proof MDG architectures tailored to pharma/healthcare needs
- Recommend and lead platform migration to next‑gen MDG solutions with an emphasis on Veeva Network
- Develop data models and golden record strategies for HCP/HCO and other pharma‑relevant domains
- Lead data quality improvement initiatives and support ongoing data stewardship
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across IT, regulatory, compliance, and commercial functions
- Drive vendor selection processes (RFI/RFP), tool evaluations, and due diligence
- Ensure seamless integration with systems such as CRM (Salesforce, Veeva Vault), ERP (SAP), and data lakes
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on governance frameworks and metadata strategies
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture or MDG, including 3+ years within pharmaceutical or healthcare environments
- Proven leadership in MDG transformations including platform migrations and tool evaluations
- Hands‑on experience with Veeva Network and at least one additional cloud MDG solution (e.g., Reltio, Informatica)
- Deep understanding of pharma‑specific data domains and regulatory considerations
- Strong skills in data governance, data quality, and integration architecture (e.g., APIs for Salesforce, SAP)
- Excellent client‑facing and stakeholder management capabilities
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Veeva OpenData, IQVIA OneKey, or similar external data services
- Knowledge of GxP, HIPAA, or IDMP compliance requirements
- Experience in professional services or complex project environments
- Understanding of cloud‑native architectures (Azure, AWS)
