Job Overview
As we continue to expand our Federal business, we are looking for a dynamic Solutions Consultant focused on the Federal Civilian market.
The focus of the solution consulting organization is to create and deliver innovative value propositions by matching technical capabilities to business outcomes.
The primary purpose of the role is to support the sales organization in the local territory to achieve its revenue goals by providing pre‑sales support for new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead Civilian Federal Solutions Consultant for all pre‑sales activities associated with sales opportunities within the Federal Civilian market.
- Bridge end‑to‑end sales cycles, providing day‑to‑day technical support on discovery meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, POVs, and close‑out meetings.
- Engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate solutions, communicate the core value proposition and differentiators, and answer technical questions with credibility.
- Work with multiple stakeholders in IT Security, IT Operations and IT Service Management to illustrate use cases where Nexthink adds value.
- Become a Nexthink SME and thought leader, both internally and externally, to drive the business value of the Nexthink Platform.
- Help the sales team qualify leads by leveraging deep product knowledge to address business issues and provide business value.
- Execute flawless Technical Validation cycles, including POCs / POVs, to obtain technical wins.
- Complete technical questionnaires, security questionnaires, RFIs and RFPs in line with Federal requirements.
- Participate in webinars, marketing events, trade shows and other industry activities.
- Maintain a minimum of 50% travel to the DC area and occasional international travel as required.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of successful sales experience with Federal Civilian Agencies.
- Deep knowledge of the Federal market, security standards and regulations required for Federal engagements.
- Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication skills capable of interacting comfortably with senior leaders, executives and technical teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self‑directed with the ability to use good judgment and to escalates when needed.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a high‑velocity sales environment.
- Tech‑savvy ability to quickly learn Nexthink products and services.
- Desirable experience in End User Computing, IT Service Management or Security / Governance / Risk / Compliance environments.
- Team player who thrives on finding solutions in a dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to adapt to a fast‑growing, fast‑paced, and dynamic organization.
