We are looking for an IMS Cloud Architect to join our team.

Tasks

What you’ll do

• Design and own the cloud‑native architecture of our Kubernetes‑based telecom platform across public cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Ensure cloud readiness of product features – review and validate infrastructure, networking, security, observability, and automation impacts early in the lifecycle.
• Drive the cloud platform roadmap – identify gaps, raise enhancements, and improve scalability, resilience, and operability based on real‑world deployments.
• Define customer deployment architectures – own the cloud and infrastructure sections of high‑level designs, including HA/DR, scaling, and upgrade strategies.
• Support customer engagements – lead technical discussions on cloud architecture, sizing, resilience, and operational models during pre‑ and post‑sales phases.
• Champion operability – ensure features ship with monitoring, logging, alerting, and clear operational guidance.
• Work cross‑functionally – collaborate closely with product, engineering, deployment, and customer‑facing teams to avoid late‑stage infrastructure surprises.

Requirements

Our ideal new colleague should have

• 5–10 years of experience in cloud or platform architecture for distributed systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes in production environments (Helm, networking, upgrades, security).
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking concepts (ingress/egress, CNI, network policies; multi‑network setups a plus).
• Experience with observability stacks (metrics, logs, tracing, alerting).
• Hands‑on experience with public cloud Kubernetes distributions such as GKE and/or AWS EKS.
• Comfortable reading and reviewing YAML / Helm configurations and translating requirements into actionable work.
• Pragmatic mindset – able to balance architectural best practices with delivery and customer realities.
• Clear communicator, comfortable working with engineers and customer technical teams.

Nice‑to‑have extras

• Experience running telecom or real‑time workloads (IMS, VoLTE, SBC, signaling systems). Designed highly available or geo‑redundant Kubernetes platforms.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code or GitOps experience.
• Background in building telecom network functions on Kubernetes platforms.
