Norconsulting is currently looking for an experienced HSE Engineer / Coordinator to join a major Power generation Project in Berlin.
Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will coordinate HSE activities across the project, working closely with site teams, contractors and subcontractors to ensure full compliance with safety regulations and project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate HSE activities for all project personnel and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE legislation, procedures and project requirements
- Carry out site inspections, risk assessments and safety monitoring
- Identify potential hazards and implement preventive and corrective actions
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project
- Support construction teams and subcontractors with HSE matters
- Monitor compliance throughout the construction and execution phases
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience as an HSE Officer, HSE Engineer or HSE Coordinator
- Strong experience on complex industrial, energy or infrastructure construction projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
- Relevant HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH, VCA or equivalent
- Strong hands-on experience working directly on construction sites
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
