Senior Auditor

pAre you a bSenior Auditor with strong experience in banking audit, risk management, and financial crime or business conduct /b? /p pWe are currently supporting a client with a requirement for a bLead Auditor /b. /p pThis role offers the opportunity to operate across a diverse range of risk topics while independently leading audits from scoping through reporting. /p pYou will work closely with senior stakeholders, act as a sparring partner to management, and take ownership of selected international locations while responding to an evolving business and regulatory environment. /p pbResponsibilities /b /p ul liLead audits end-to-end, including planning, scoping, execution, and timely communication of results /li liAssess risks across areas including bfinancial crime, business conduct /b, and emerging risk topics /li liDraft clear, concise, and impactful audit reports /li liAct as a sparring partner to management and senior stakeholders /li liMonitor the implementation of agreed audit measures and recommendations /li liPrepare statements and reports for the bHead of Group Internal Audit, Board of Directors /b, and other decision-makers /li liTake responsibility for the bPanama and Bahamas /b locations, including annual risk assessments, activity planning, and acting as key contact /li liParticipate in special investigations, projects, and other internal audit initiatives /li liServe as a bSubject Matter Expert /b across relevant risk areas /li /ul pbRequirements /b /p ul liAt least b5 years of experience as a Lead Auditor /b within banking, internal audit, or external audit /li liBanking apprenticeship, certified bank professional, university or university of applied sciences degree, or equivalent qualification /li libCIA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification /b is advantageous /li liCertified Public Accountant qualification is a plus /li liStrong knowledge of banking audit and risk management /li liExperience with bAvaloq /b is an advantage /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and set priorities /li liExcellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills /li liStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to produce impactful written reports /li liHigh level of integrity, accountability, and ownership /li liHands‑on and proactive working approach /li liAbility to work independently /li liWillingness to travel internationally, approximately b30 days per year /b /li libFluent English required /b, with strong written English skills /li liGerman, French, or Spanish is an advantage /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
