Build and maintain strong business relationships with a portfolio of retail clients Drive ongoing and proactive collaboration with retailers, including negotiations and partnership expansion Understand client business needs and translate them into actionable solutions Take ownership of business planning and execution Manage the business plan: financial targets, proposal submissions, revenue tracking, and pipeline development Identify client needs and match them with the most suitable NielsenIQ solutions – working closely with internal teams and owning sales targets for retail‑specific solutions Collaborate with the analytics team to develop recommendations and deliver impactful insights Present high‑quality insights and strategic recommendations that influence client decisions Represent NielsenIQ externally at client meetings, industry events, and conferences About you

Previous experience working with a retailer – whether in FMCG, pharma, beauty, IT&C, etc – is highly appreciated. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders across departments and organizational levels Consultative sales mindset with a focus on building long‑term relationships Strong interpersonal and business networking abilities Willingness to work with demanding external clients Problem‑solving mindset and solution‑oriented approach Experience in at least one retail‑related sector such as FMCG, pharma, beauty, or IT&C – familiarity with key trends in any of these areas is appreciated Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Fluency in English and Romanian is required Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Experience or familiarity with
Microsoft Dynamics ,
