Tasks
- Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB and IAS/IFRS)
- Determintation, reconciliation and posting of prepaid expenses and accruals as well as other items of the general ledger
- Monthly reconciliation of various general ledger accounts
- Check of posting proposal lists of parked incoming invoices and payment proposal lists with regard to compliance with external and internal guidelines
- Handling of VAt returns & refunds, and statistics for German government
- Contact person for questions related to accounting according to HGB and IAS/IFRS
- Preparing the advance sales tax return
- Preparing of account reconciliations and integrity checking
- Maintaining Accounting Manuals & CoA descriptions & the correct use thereof
- Creation of statistics and evaluations
- Participation in cross-departmental projects
- Supporting Senior Manager of Accounting
Requirements
Degree in business administration with a focus on accounting and/or commercial education with further training as an accountant (IHK), ideally as an international accountant (IHK)
