The role We are looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to join our team in Geneva.
This role is for someone who understands luxury, watches and jewelry, and who can identify opportunities beyond traditional sales channels. You will use the NIRU Swiss platform to develop new B2B relationships, commercial concepts and strategic partnerships. The role requires someone who can connect brands, institutions, networks and capabilities in an intelligent and relevant way. You will bring original thinking, commercial judgment and the discipline required to turn ideas into structured opportunities.
Responsibilities
Identify new B2B business opportunities across luxury, watches, jewelry and related sectors
Develop original commercial concepts using the NIRU Swiss network, expertise and capabilities
Build trusted relationships with brands, institutions, professional organizations and selected networks
Develop strategic partnerships that create new channels of business for our clients
Lead opportunities from the initial conversation through proposal, alignment and execution
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
Prepare clear and persuasive presentations, proposals and business cases
Represent NIRU Swiss at meetings, events and industry gatherings
Work closely with our leadership, commercial, creative and manufacturing teams
The person we are looking for You understand the standards, relationships and discretion required in the luxury industry. You are connected to the world of watches, jewelry or luxury and know how to build trusted B2B relationships.
You think beyond conventional sales methods. You can identify connections that others may overlook and turn them into relevant commercial opportunities. You are comfortable engaging with senior executives, entrepreneurs, creative leaders and institutional partners. You combine curiosity and imagination with structure, commercial discipline and accountability. You take ownership and follow opportunities through to completion. You share our belief that business should create value while spreading happiness among the people involved.
Experience and capabilities
Strong experience in business development, partnerships, luxury, watches or jewelry
A relevant professional network within the luxury industry
Excellent written and spoken French and English
Strong communication, presentation and relationship building skills
Entrepreneurial thinking and strong personal initiative
International outlook and cultural sensitivity
High standards of professionalism, discretion and integrity
Based in Geneva
