Overview

In this role you help leading life sciences companies accelerate digital manufacturing through MES solutions. You join NNIT’s Smart Manufacturing team to support MES programs from strategy to implementation in regulated environments. You collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across production, quality, IT, and engineering to translate business needs into functional MES capabilities. The opportunity combines hands-on MES work with learning in a global, knowledge-sharing culture, contributing to standardized, modern manufacturing processes.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Support MES deliveries and contribute to the customers’ digital manufacturing journey
  • Assist in workshops and discussions on MES use cases, goals, and requirements
  • Participate in analysis of manufacturing processes within life sciences
  • Support MES implementation work under guidance from senior consultants
  • Collect and document business requirements and translate into functional descriptions
  • Assist with solution/vendor assessments (materials and findings)
  • Support interfaces and integration topics between MES, ERP (e.g., SAP), and automation systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across production, quality, engineering/automation, and IT
  • Contribute to project documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations
  • Engage in knowledge sharing and learning within the team

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • Life sciences mindset and curiosity for technology
  • Degree in IT, Engineering, Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field (or equivalent)
  • Background in pharmaceutical/life sciences domain (studies, work experience, internships, or projects)
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing concepts in regulated environments (GxP awareness a plus)
  • Interest in MES, IT/OT concepts, and data/integration topics
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and integrations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills
  • Structured, well-organized approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and in international teams
