YOUR FUTURE EMPLOYER:

Our partner is a fast-growing European GovTech SaaS company transforming how cities and municipalities manage their road infrastructure. Using AI-powered technology and smartphone-based data collection, its platform helps public-sector organizations assess road conditions, prioritize maintenance and make smarter, data-driven infrastructure decisions.

With an established presence in Germany and an expanding international footprint, the company combines a proven product with ambitious European growth plans.

The commercial organization has demonstrated consistent performance, achieving 102% of its sales targets in 2025 , supported by a structured sales methodology and a dedicated SDR team.

Following successful expansion across the DACH region, they're now looking for a Senior Account Executive to spearhead their growth in Switzerland , taking ownership of a largely greenfield territory and building a scalable new-business pipeline.

Unlike a typical market-entry role, you'll benefit from an existing customer base, established local references and partnerships that can be reactivated , while having the autonomy to develop the Swiss market further.

YOUR ROLE AS ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE SWITZERLAND:

You'll join an established commercial team as a quota-carrying Account Executive , responsible for developing new business and expanding the company's presence across Swiss municipalities.

This is a greenfield market development opportunity with a strong entrepreneurial component. You'll take ownership of the Swiss territory, leveraging approximately 4–6 existing customers, potential referrals and established partnerships to accelerate growth.

You'll also benefit from shared SDR support (50-60% of your leads), although proactive pipeline generation is still considered part of your responsibilities.

You will:

  • Own the sales cycle from qualified opportunity through discovery, product evaluation, negotiation and close.
  • Manage an annual ARR quota of approximately €280–330k , depending on seniority.
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder public-sector sales processes, engaging decision-makers, economic buyers and operational stakeholders.
  • Conduct consultative discovery using MEDDICC , identifying customer challenges, buying criteria and decision-making processes.
  • Lead product test drives and follow-up meetings, demonstrating measurable value to municipalities.
  • Collaborate closely with SDRs, who generate approximately 99% of the sales team's opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline, combining existing opportunities with proactive territory development.
  • Average sales cycle of approximately 120 days .
  • Current win rates of 20–23% .
  • Established sales playbooks, qualification frameworks and forecasting processes.
  • Strong emphasis on structured selling rather than purely relationship-driven sales.

WHO YOU ARE:

Experience:

  • Ideally 2-5+ years of B2B sales experience , preferably including field sales and full-cycle ownership.
  • Proven track record of new-business acquisition and consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • Previous SaaS, technology or public-sector sales experience is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Comfortable with proactive prospecting and cold calling, even when supported by an SDR team.

Approach:

  • A genuine hunter who enjoys winning new business and developing territories.
  • Consultative and structured, with experience using MEDDICC, BANT or comparable sales methodologies .
  • Skilled at identifying economic buyers and bringing relevant stakeholders into the sales process.
  • Disciplined in pipeline management, qualification and forecasting.
  • Collaborative, coachable and comfortable working within established sales frameworks while maintaining your individual selling style.

Languages:

Fluent/native-level Swiss German.

Location:

Switzerland, ideally centrally located (e.g. Zug, Bern or surrounding areas), with willingness to travel throughout the German-speaking Swiss market for customer meetings.

WHY SHOULD SOMEONE GO FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY?

  • Competitive compensation: 85–100k base and CHF 140–170k OTE
  • Proven commercial performance: Join a sales organization that achieved 102% quota attainment in 2025 and is on track to exceed its targets again in 2026.
  • Meaningful technology: Sell an AI-powered solution that helps municipalities improve road safety, infrastructure management and public spending.
  • Strong SDR support: Approximately 99% of AE opportunities originate through the SDR function, allowing you to focus on consultative selling and closing.
  • Structured onboarding: Benefit from a 12-week onboarding program, dedicated buddy, MEDDICC training, product enablement and shadowing with experienced colleagues.
  • Territory ownership: Play a key role in expanding the company's presence in Switzerland, with the autonomy to develop your market while benefiting from an established European sales organization.
  • Screening interview with Nobel Recruitment: Commercial track record, sales methodology, motivation and practicalities.
  • HR screening: Introduction to the company and cultural alignment.
  • Technical interview: With the Sales Director.
  • On-site interview + case: Meet the commercial leadership team and prepare a sales pitch based on information provided in advance.
  • Offer.

Does this sound like the right fit for you or someone in your network?
