Product Owner - Insurance Technology & Digital Solutions - Solothurn / Hybrid

Are you an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in the Swiss insurance industry and, critically, hands-on knowledge of Sumex and/or Syrius? This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of key insurance technology products and play a central role in shaping the future of claims management.

Our client is an established Swiss IT service provider supporting the insurance industry with specialist technology and digital solutions. As part of the team, you will take responsibility for the Solution Stream Sumex, working closely with customers, internal teams and external technology partners to drive the quality, positioning and continued development of the product.

You will need a strong practical understanding of these insurance platforms and how they support claims processes. This is not a generic Product Owner role where insurance software knowledge can be picked up later as deep familiarity with Sumex and/or Syrius is a key requirement for the successful candidate.

You will own and prioritise the product backlog, translate customer and market requirements into clear product priorities, define and monitor KPIs, and ensure that initiatives are delivered on time and within budget. Working within a SAFe-Scaled Agile environment, you will coordinate closely with development teams and software suppliers while maintaining alignment with customers and the organisation's wider roadmap.

The ideal candidate will bring proven Product Ownership experience combined with deep Swiss insurance knowledge, particularly across claims handling, and strong hands-on knowledge of Sumex and Syrius. Experience defining requirements, working with software vendors and development teams, and operating within agile/SAFe environments will be highly valuable, alongside strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Location: Solothurn, Switzerland / Hybrid Working
Salary Range: CHF 100,000 - CHF 140,000
Language: C1 (written and Spoken) German is required for this role.
