We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our client, a prominent player in the energy sector, focusing on renewable energy, grid management, and energy trading. As a developer, you will join a team of 20, working on projects that improve the environment and contribute to a sustainable energy future in Europe.

The role:

Exciting Projects you will work on:

* Grid Management: Work on software that helps manage and optimize energy distribution across Austria’s grid.

* Energy Efficiency Solutions: Develop software that helps local businesses optimize their energy usage and reduce their carbon footprint.

* Renewable Energy Forecasting: Develop software that predicts renewable energy output, enabling better grid management and energy distribution.

* Electric Vehicle Charging Management: Develop software that optimizes electric vehicle charging, reducing strain on the grid and promoting sustainable transportation.

Requirements:

* 5+ years experience in software development.

* Knowledge of DevOps tools is a plus (Jenkins, Azure or Kubernetes).

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

* Experience in imparting knowledge and training trainees or Junior Developers.

* Very Good knowledge of German (C1 or C2) and good English.
