Our Client:
Is a pioneering family-owned Swiss company specialising in power electronics that designs, manufactures, and supplies high-power RF amplifiers and transmitters for various industries, including broadcasting, telecommunications, military and defence, and scientific research.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our client’s team, who is responsible for developing test requirements, creating test instructions, and testing PCBs, assemblies, and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and measurement technology, with practical experience in handling measuring equipment and a good understanding of radio frequency and power engineering.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Development of test requirements and new test methods in collaboration with the development department
  2. Creation of test instructions and test reports
  3. Testing, repairing (requires e.g. soldering skills) and commissioning of PCBs, assemblies and systems as well as participation in tests in the test field
  4. Checking production orders and goods receipt material according to quality characteristics
  5. Perform factory inspections with customers
  6. Management of measuring equipment storage
  7. Construction of test facilities for the rationalization of test procedures

Required Competencies:

  1. Completed technical training in the direction of electronics/measurement technology, technician school, an advantage
  2. Practical experience in handling measuring equipment
  3. Knowledge of radio frequency and power engineering is an advantage
  4. Excellent knowledge of German and English
  5. Positive attitude to work
  6. Reliable team player with a pronounced quality awareness
  7. Enjoy working independently
