Overview
In this senior role, you lead the validation and characterization of next-generation high-speed ADC/DAC technologies for optical transmission systems. You will provide technical leadership, shape test strategy, and coordinate validation across international teams, guiding developments from research to manufacturing readiness. Your hands-on measurements and data-driven recommendations will impact product performance and reliability. This is an opportunity to influence cutting-edge converter technologies within Nokia’s Optical Networks division.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead validation and characterization of high-speed ADC/DAC technologies
- Define test strategies, validation plans, and measurement methodologies
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers
- Develop and improve automated test environments, tools, and frameworks
- Perform hands-on measurements with high-frequency RF test equipment
- Analyze data and provide actionable recommendations to design teams
- Collaborate with ADC/DAC designers, DSP engineers, and ASIC teams
- Lead root-cause investigations and drive corrective actions
- Ensure transition of validation methodologies from R&D to manufacturing and volume production
- Coordinate validation activities across global teams and external partners
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and future validation approaches
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years in semiconductor, RF, mixed-signal, optical networking, or related high-tech environments
- Strong hands-on laboratory experience with ADC/DAC characterization and validation
- Deep understanding of ADC/DAC metrics and measurement methodologies
- Experience with high-frequency/RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers)
- Experience developing automated test solutions using Python
- Proven track record supporting products through multiple development and product release cycles
- Strong technical leadership with project coordination and mentoring
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across international organizations
