Overview
In this role you will strengthen Nokia’s litigation function, focusing on European matters while supporting global disputes. You will lead early case assessment, manage outside counsel, oversee budgets, and implement advanced litigation dashboards, partnering with business leaders across the company. You’ll balance readiness to go to court with cost-efficient dispute resolution and drive cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed organization. - Lead early case assessment and strategic planning for disputes
- Oversee outside counsel relationships and control external spend
- Develop and implement litigation management dashboards and reporting for stakeholders
- Collaborate with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams across time zones
- Drive cost-effective dispute strategies and exploration of alternative fee arrangements
- Support trials, mediations, and arbitrations; maintain readiness to litigate and appeal when appropriate

- Contribute to strengthening Nokia’s litigation function and governance across regions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Legally qualified, ideally in Germany
- Minimum 3 years PQE in commercial and IP litigation including SEP disputes
- Experience in trials, court procedure, mediations, and arbitrations
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization and with diverse stakeholders
- Interest in technology or science; ability to understand technical contexts
- Strategic thinking and ability to act as a trusted business partner
- Ability to manage cross-time-zone work and balance with work-life considerations
