Principal Security Research Lead

The team you\’ll be part of:

Nokia Standards is responsible for research and standardization activities related to 5G and 6G cellular networks and collaboration with internal and external experts to advance the technology landscape as well as to protect Intellectual Property.

Within the Nokia Standards organization, the Security Research & Standardization team is made up of security researchers and standardization delegates who are working on the near-to-mid-term security aspects of emerging communication technologies that are being standardized in international standardization organizations, focusing on 5G Advanced and 6G security and their enabler technologies.

We are currently looking to strengthen our team with an ambitious and highly engaged Security Research Lead to assure Nokia’s leadership position in security research, innovation, and standardization. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced technical leader with deep security competence along with a well-established professional network, particularly in Germany, to spearhead our research & standardization efforts in mobile network security and assure technology leadership in security.

The primary responsibility of this role is to plan, develop, and lead standards-related security projects in mobile networks, particularly in 6G, and engage with the internal and external security research & innovation stakeholders including research units, business groups, academia, customers, industry players, and public research institutions.
