Russian Teacher - Tutoring in Genève

pTo deliver engaging and high-quality after-school Russian language tuition to students from 7 to 18 years old, fostering language development in a supportive and stimulating learning environment. /p pYou will work after class hours, with the number of hours depending on the requirements. This is an hourly-paid contract. /p h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 pThe Russian Teacher will: /p ul liPlan, prepare and deliver engaging after-school Russian lessons. /li liDevelop appropriate teaching resources, lesson plans and learning materials tailored to students' age, ability and language proficiency. /li liDifferentiate teaching to meet the individual learning needs of students. /li liMonitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to students and, where appropriate, to parents. /li liCreate a positive, inclusive and motivating classroom environment that encourages active participation. /li liMaintain accurate attendance records and communicate any concerns to the relevant school staff. /li liWork collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency with the school's educational standards and values. /li liUndertake any other duties reasonably required by the manager. /li /ul h3CANDIDATE PROFILE /h3 h3bQualification /b /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Russian studies or a related subject. /li liRecognised teaching qualification. /li /ul h3bExperience /b /h3 ul liExperience teaching Russian to primary-aged children up to high school. /li liPrevious experience in an international school or multilingual environment would be an advantage. /li /ul h3bKnowledge and Skills /b /h3 ul liExcellent command of Russian (native or near-native level). /li liAbility to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate language lessons. /li liGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with young learners. /li liGood organisational and time management skills. /li liICT literacy, including the use of educational technologies and standard office software. /li liGood working knowledge of English.
