Nordson Test & Inspection , a leading provider of advanced inspection and testing solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and talented work student to join our team in Eckental, Germany , as a AI Software Engineer (m / f / d) . This is for a max. of 20 hours / week.

Summary of the role

In your role as work student AI Software Engineer (m / f / d) your aim is to support the AI team in building solutions and take over engineering tasks within the team.

This role involves a lot of learning and the ability to learn fast in a domain which is evolving all the time.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.

Role and Responsibilities

Collaborate with fellow engineers to create an AI solution.

The role involves coding in python.

Investigate data provided by the AI team and find patterns in it.

Report results of the exploration within the dataset to the team lead and create a report.

Utilize libraries like, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Sci-Kit learn and Pandas .

Skills and Qualifications

Know how to code in Python

Knowledge in statistics and math which are necessary to work in the field of AI

Strong will to learn and adapt during the internship

Interest to the domain and be an active member of the team

Having the will to integrate in an international team which might need to adjust active hours on certain occasions
