Hydro Building Systems is a business unit in Norsk Hydro, which is a global integrated aluminium company and world leader in extruded aluminium solutions. The company specializes in the design and distribution of aluminium systems for the envelope of the buildings with our brands Technal , Wicona , Domal and Sapa . YOUR FUTURE MISSION
Reporting to our Central Product Marketing Manager, you are responsible for managing products for all countries and brands in Building Systems in accordance with each brand’s DNA. You will orchestrate the activities of the various functional departments, ensuring that there is a permanent match between its products, the various markets and the various countries, while complying with safety and environmental regulations and continuous improvement policies.
Your main activities are:
- Participating in market research and internal and external product benchmarking for all countries, taking into account the various regulations and market needs.
- Produce product specifications.
- Co-ordinate product development with R&D and all departments: Purchasing, R&D, Communication, Suppliers, Local Marketing.
- Carry out product launches for all countries and internal customers.
- Ensuring that the tools required for product launches are made available (software, communication, technical documentation, mock-ups, tests, etc.).
- Monitor product development and improvements with the design office.
- Participating in the platforming strategy of the product you are concerned about.
You will be involved in all the processes: from the analysis of the markets, the different needs according to the markets, specifications, design, development of the product until the product is commercialized in all countries.
YOUR PROFILE
With a master’s degree in a business school or Marketing or Engineering School, you have at least 3 years of proven experience in product marketing roles. You have gained your experience in an international environment with a multicultural team.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical capabilities and advanced communication skills.
The position requires the ability to organize and plan, along with natural curiosity and rigor.
English fluency is a prerequisite. Other languages would be advantageous.
Knowledge of PLM, SAP is beneficial.
