The role
A specialist part-time position within the Kompetenzcenter Wertpapiere, sitting inside the Portfolio Management and Private Banking team. You will be the operational backbone of the securities business — coordinating processes, managing regulatory requirements, running the premium-client trading hotline, and preparing analyses and presentations for internal stakeholders. No sales pressure. High autonomy. Real impact in a focused team of three.
Your responsibilities
- Shape and optimise processes and workflows within the securities business
- Organise and coordinate committees, meetings, and key deadlines
- Manage regulatory and civil-law requirements (house opinions, internal policies) and distribute to advisors
- Operate the premium-client securities hotline for heavy traders — fast, accurate order handling
- Provide analytics, reports, and data queries to steer the business field
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and specialist documentation including topics such as crypto assets
- Act as the central interface between internal specialists and external partners
What you bring
Must-haves:
- Completed bank apprenticeship (IHK) or equivalent qualification including BaFin Sachkunde licence
- Practical securities experience — advisory, trading, portfolio management, or similar
- Genuine interest in capital markets and the ability to think cross-functionally
- Availability for exactly 20 hours per week with scheduling flexibility
- Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel) and digital confidence
Nice-to-haves:
- Private Banking or premium-client advisory background
- Experience handling heavy-trader order hotlines
- Knowledge of crypto assets and current regulatory trends
- Process or project coordination experience within banking
Not a fit if:
- No BaFin licence or no clear path to obtain one quickly
- Little or no securities knowledge
- Unwilling to work part-time (20h) with regular presence in Bielefeld
- Pure credit or non-investment background without transferable skills
What you get
- Permanent part-time contract — specialist role without sales pressure
- €30,000 – €40,000 gross p.a. pro-rated, depending on experience and tariff years
- 30 vacation days + 2 bank holidays (full-time equivalent)
- Life-working-time account with option for paid sabbaticals
- Flexible hours and mobile working
- Health programme: Sport-Navi, digital fitness classes, health check, mobile massage
- JobRad leasing, JobTicket, meal subsidies, employee discounts
