The position of QC Specialist includes incoming testing, quality assurance, and ensuring efficient laboratory processes. Responsibilities include supporting laboratory analysts, reviewing QC analyses, and contributing to GxP compliance, audits, deviations, and process improvements. Teamwork & Communication – You actively support colleagues, share your knowledge, and ensure transparent communication of goals and performance metrics. Laboratory Operations & Quality Assurance – You support laboratory analysts in their day-to-day work, ensure smooth operations, and review QC analyses for accuracy and completeness. Leadership & Development – You promote the personal and professional development of your colleagues through targeted guidance, training, and feedback. Quality Management & GxP Compliance – You support deviation investigations, participate in GxP audits and inspections, and ensure compliance with current quality requirements. Process Improvement & Innovation – You promote continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation within the team, and actively support OpEx projects. Responsibility & Escalation – You report potential risks to the quality system or product quality in accordance with the escalation guidelines of the Novartis Quality Manual. Requirements
Laboratory technician training and 3–5 years of experience in areas relevant to this position, or comparable education/training, such as a degree. Flexible, resilient, and solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning. Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt in a dynamic, regulated environment. Very good German skills and good English skills. High self-awareness and sense of responsibility in a collaborative team environment. Benefits
