Overview

In this role you drive PoC-focused translational medicine across global cross-functional teams, shaping PoC strategies and guiding early clinical trials in cardiovascular metabolism. You lead trial planning, medical monitoring, and publication of PoC results while collaborating with biology, chemistry, and health authorities. The position offers high visibility within a mission-driven, innovation-focused organization. You will influence path-to-approval decisions and contribute to the broader development strategy.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Lead global project teams through PoC phase to implement PoC strategy and manage program lifecycle from NTRC to registration
  • Own clinical aspects of the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) through PoC
  • Serve as medical monitor for one or more studies
  • Convey clinical matters to project teams and decision boards
  • Convene internal and external leaders to discuss PoC approach
  • Assess clinical centers and maintain collaboration with investigators
  • Oversee publication and external presentation of PoC results
  • Be accountable for compound-related biomarker strategies and work with biomarker experts
  • Collaborate to identify and implement preclinical support aligning with clinical development pathways

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • MD with clinical subspecialty training in cardiovascular disease or endocrinology/metabolic disease; PhD/post-doc preferred
  • 1–2+ years in pharma/biotech, CRO, or academic medical center; 5+ years for Director level
  • Strong medical and scientific reputation with impactful publications
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently on study planning and execution; lead cross-functional collaborations
  • Leadership of multidisciplinary teams in a matrix organization
  • Innovative mindset with interest in new PoC approaches
  • Fluency in English
