Overview In this role, you will lead the translational strategy for neurodegeneration programs, bridging preclinical work to early clinical development. You will own biomarker and endpoint strategy, support Phase 1–2 trials, and ensure data-driven decisions at key milestones. You will collaborate across functions to align research, TM, and development, shaping trial designs and patient-centered outcomes. Your work helps differentiate neuromuscular assets and advance therapies towards patients who need them. Drive program progression through decision gates and ensure mechanistic linkage between target biology, biomarkers, and clinical endpoints. Lead biomarker and endpoint development, including molecular biomarkers, functional endpoints, and PROs; drive biomarker integration into protocols. Co-lead design and execution of early clinical studies; define dose escalation, exposure–response, and translational endpoints. Provide TM leadership within Clinical Trial Teams for trial design, execution, data interpretation, and decision-making. Serve as core Translational Medicine representative in global project teams; align research, TM, and development across functions. Build collaborations with academic KOLs, patient groups, and technology partners; contribute to scientific strategy and external positioning. Incorporate the patient perspective into translational and clinical strategies; advance meaningful functional endpoints and innovative trial approaches.
