This is a temporary contractor opportunity at Novartis The In Vitro ADME group within the Pharmacokinetic Sciences (PKS) department provides the characterization of absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) properties using in vitro assays such as cellular permeability and metabolic stability. This role supports in vitro ADME running cellular-based assays, partially using lab‑automation systems, and provides critical support to discovery project teams in selecting optimal compounds for clinical development.

Qualifications
Apprenticeship, BS or MS in biology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry or related disciplines.
Proficiency in performing cellular-based in vitro assays including routine cell culture techniques such as cell seeding and cultivating cell lines.
A good understanding of laboratory equipment (particularly LC/MS) and associated software.
Experience with lab automation is desirable.
Strong experimental and problem‑solving skills, excellent collaboration and communication skills (both written and oral), eagerness to learn, and excellent time management skills.
Ability to work in a team‑based drug discovery/development environment.
