As Legal Counsel Global Procurement, DDIT, you will play a critical role in enabling strategic business decisions, advising on high-value commercial transactions, and helping teams navigate complex legal challenges with confidence. Your primary focus will be supporting global Procurement activities, particularly indirect procurement, while partnering with DDIT stakeholders on technology-related matters where required. /ph3Job Description /h3h3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliPartner with global Procurement teams as a trusted legal advisor on strategic sourcing initiatives. /liliDraft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements for goods and services including technology, SaaS, AI and other digital solutions where required. /liliProvide practical, risk-based legal guidance on commercial, operational, and governance matters. /liliSupport global projects and transactions while balancing legal risks with business objectives working independently and in collaboration with legal colleagues across jurisdictions. /liliDeliver legal training and awareness sessions to Procurement and digital stakeholders. /liliIdentify, assess, and manage legal risks across procurement activities and technology-related projects . Assist in the management of disputes, dispute resolution matters and external counsel where appropriate. /liliCollaborate across legal, compliance, and business teams to drive successful outcomes including supporting colleagues on cross-border matters requiring Swiss law expertise. /liliContribute to innovation, continuous improvement, and adoption of new legal technologies. /li /ulh3Essential Requirements /h3ulliQualified Swiss lawyer with admission to the Swiss Bar. /liliPost-qualification legal experience in a leading law firm or in an in-house role /liliStrong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts combined with a pragmatic, and strong solution-oriented approach . /liliExcellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. /liliProven ability to provide practical, solution-focused legal advice in complex business environments. /liliExperience advising on topics like SaaS, IT and artificial intelligence /li /ulh3Benefits Rewards /h3pAt Novartis, we're committed to reimagining medicine together - and rewarding the people who make it happen. /ppExpected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 126.000 - 234.000 CHF /ppThe base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. /ppThe rewards of being part of our team go far beyond base pay and incentives.
