Our legal trainee position offers excellent hands-on, in-house legal experience within the dynamic and multinational environment of a leading pharmaceutical company. We are seeking a motivated and diligent legal trainee who has the courage to navigate unknown and ambiguous legal areas and the curiosity to learn and be exposed to interesting and challenging legal questions. If you\’re passionate about making a difference and keen to kickstart your career with our in-house team, this could be the ideal role for you.

We offer two 6-month legal traineeship positions, starting January 1, 2026, and June 1, 2026.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Offering essential legal advice in employment law (including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), litigation, and investigations, tackling complex global and local issues.
• Managing legal cases and major projects (reorganizations, divestments, policy implementations), drafting and reviewing agreements, regulations, and templates.
• Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda to simplify complex ideas.
• Reporting key legal matters to audit committees in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• Swiss Bachelor of Law (BLaw) and Master of Law (MLaw).
• Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
• High motivation and ability to work independently on challenging tasks.
• Prior legal internship and knowledge of employment law is a plus.
