Npz Innovation, officially known as Norddeutsche Pflanzenzucht Hans-Georg Lembke KG, is a private, medium-sized plant breeding company based in Hohenlieth, near the Baltic Sea resort of Eckernförde. The company has been successfully breeding new varieties of crops such as winter and summer rapeseed, field beans, peas, winter wheat, and winter barley for over 125 years. With more than 270 employees across three locations, Npz Innovation focuses on breeding, production, consulting, and sales of seeds for both domestic and international markets.
