**Job Title** Site HSE Manager **Summary** We’re seeking an experienced **Site HSE Manager** to join a major engineering project based in **Wesseling, Germany**. This role is ideal for a qualified safety professional who can provide strong leadership and ensure compliance with all HSE regulations on-site. If you’re passionate about driving safety performance and fluent in **German and English**, this is a great opportunity to apply your expertise on a high-profile project. **Salary** €80 – €100 per hour **Location and Working Pattern*** **Location:** Wesseling, Germany* **Working Hours:** 48-hour week* **Start Date:** ASAP* **Duration:** 6+ months **Client Overview** Our client is a global engineering and services organisation delivering complex projects across the energy sector. **Responsibilities*** Act as appointed SiGeKo and ensure all activities comply with relevant HSE laws, codes, standards, and practices.* Support the implementation of the project’s safety programme and achieve all HSE targets.* Evaluate contractor HSE plans, competencies, and work processes.* Review and approve safety documentation including JSA, STA, and TSTI.* Conduct site safety inspections and audits, providing professional guidance throughout.* Deliver and support site safety training and toolbox talks.* Lead incident reporting, investigation, and emergency response activities.* Maintain accurate HSE records and provide input for reports and KPIs.* Collaborate with project teams to maintain a safe working environment across all activities. **Must-have Requirements*** German Occupational Health and Safety qualification.* SiGeKo certification.* Fluent in **German and English** (written and spoken).* Previous experience in **petrochemical, oil, or gas** industries as an HSE advisor or similar role.* Knowledge of relevant industry standards, specifications, and codes.* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence safety behaviours.* Competency in MS Office applications.* Recognised audit training. **Nice-to-have Skills*** Relevant academic qualification in health and safety or engineering.* Proven track record in large-scale construction projects. **Apply Now** If you have the experience and qualifications we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
