Overview
This role will be responsible for leading transitions and transformation and integrations across all markets and functions and will be supported by Business Unit functions and delivery teams. This role will require proven experience in Service Transition and Transformation Projects management, IT Transition and transformation planning and execution, service transition, commercials, management of change, spearheading and driving performance improvement strategies, including stakeholder, customer and vendor management and program management. To be able to demonstrate great adaptability and be comfortable delivering in a matrix environment with high levels of ambiguity.
Defines the value proposition, work plan, resource needs, timeline, and budget for client products and/or service delivery projects. End to end responsibility for the planning, execution and review of major customer transition and transformation programs utilizing waterfall or agile Project management methods. Manages resources (i.e. capital requirements and human capital) to achieve project objectives on time, within scope and on budget and expected quality. Manages delivery of multiple project initiatives to enhance services and level of customer support responsibilities include planning, direction, prioritization, change management and delivery of projects in a manner aligned with client expectations and business needs. Has the key role to keep the agreed scope, manage changes and governs internal and external delivery units to outstanding results.
Responsibilities
- Developing relationships with key Customer or Customer stakeholders and/or Supplier/Business partner stakeholders and researching technical, process and other emerging trends within the programs.
- Work with Project Managers, Project Coordinators and to plan, report progress, manage risks and issues and facilitate oversight of the project.
- Serves as key point of contact for high impact, complex and strategically important customers.
- Develop and deliver detailed transition plan with clear milestones and timelines, identifying interdependencies.
- Communicate to all levels within the Customer Organisation, supplier/business partner and Vendor, including C+ level, ensuring relevant governance is in place with the appropriate gated review stages and reporting on the readiness status and plans.
- Manage the delivery of an impact assessment for all teams and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders both in United Kingdom, and EMEA /NAM/ region.
- Engage with organization BU's resources and delivery teams to understand demand and provide early insight into business impact, to ensure the necessary engagement and investment are being made to support delivery and in life service and operations.
- Define, establish, maintain and improving technology infrastructures and applications using Key Performance Indicators to measure program health.
- Define operating model support processes, improvement projects and process deployments.
- Owns the roadmap for complex and critical Program features and feature bundles.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of project management experience, ideally in Networks implementation and staffing augmentation a consideration.
- Strong experience with the full delivery lifecycle, Agile, a project management certification (PMP, Prince 2, Six Sigma etc.).
- Excellent stakeholder management experience up to Senior Management.
- High degree of self-learning and self-organization.
- Lead cross-functional experts.
- An above average level of communication skills including conflict management.
- Experience in Leadership internationally distributed teams and organization structures.
- Experience delivering complex programs in challenging environments across multiple regions with business and technical leads.
- Minimum Upper-intermediate or Advanced English language skills.
- An advanced level of presentation and rhetorical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
