The role focuses on maintaining stable and secure compute services through proactive operations, troubleshooting, lifecycle management, patching, and automation activities. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul lipAdminister and support Linux server environments and KVM-based virtualization platforms. /p /li lipPerform day-2 operational activities including system maintenance, patching, health checks, and performance monitoring. /p /li lipManage server hardware lifecycle activities across Dell PowerEdge and Lenovo ThinkSystem platforms. /p /li lipCoordinate firmware updates, operating system maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades. /p /li lipTroubleshoot infrastructure, operating system, hardware, and virtualization-related issues. /p /li lipSupport operational automation and continuous improvement initiatives. /p /li lipParticipate in incident management, problem resolution, service reviews, and change implementation activities. /p /li lipMaintain operational standards, documentation, and governance processes to ensure service stability and reliability. /p /li /ul h3Required Qualifications: /h3 ul lipExperience supporting Linux-based enterprise environments and virtualized infrastructure. /p /li lipStrong knowledge of Linux administration, server hardware, and KVM virtualization technologies. /p /li lipExperience troubleshooting compute infrastructure across physical and virtual environments. /p /li lipAbility to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact service delivery. /p /li lipStrong analytical skills and adherence to operational best practices. /p /li /ul h3Preferred Certifications: /h3 ul lipRed Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) /p /li lipLinux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) /p /li lipDell PowerEdge administration or implementation training /p /li lipLenovo ThinkSystem administration or implementation training /p /li lipAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous /p /li /ul h3Language Requirement: /h3 ul lipbGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory. /b /p /li lipAbility to participate in technical discussions, incident coordination, service reviews, change-related communication, and daily operational interactions with German-speaking stakeholders, customers, and support teams. /p /li /ul h3Citizenship Requirement: /h3 ul libApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship. /b /li /ul h3Location: /h3 ul lipbWinterthur area, Switzerland /b /p /li lipCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within, the Winterthur region to support local operational alignment, customer engagement, coordination with onsite and remote-hands teams, and participation in governance, escalation, and service meetings as required. /p /li /ul h3About NTT DATA /h3 pNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune /p pGlobal 100.
