The role is responsible for designing, governing, and evolving enterprise container platforms, ensuring they remain secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with overall infrastructure and cloud architecture standards. As a senior technical authority, you will support complex escalations and define architectural best practices across the platform landscape. /ph3Key Responsibilities: /h3ulliDesign, implement, and govern Kubernetes cluster architectures and container platform standards. /liliDefine and maintain highly available and resilient Kubernetes control-plane architectures. /liliLead architecture decisions related to service mesh integration, storage integration, networking, security, and platform scalability. /liliEstablish operational patterns, governance frameworks, and best practices for containerized environments. /liliProvide technical leadership for complex incidents, escalations, and platform challenges. /liliEnsure platform security, compliance, reliability, and performance requirements are consistently met. /liliCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, networking, storage, and security teams to align container platforms with enterprise architecture objectives. /liliDrive continuous improvement initiatives and support the adoption of emerging cloud-native technologies. /liliProduce and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and operational guidance. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications: /h3ulliExtensive experience designing and operating enterprise Kubernetes and container platforms. /liliDeep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, platform security, networking, and storage integration. /liliExperience with high-availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and resilience design principles. /liliStrong understanding of cloud-native technologies, service meshes, observability, and platform governance. /liliProven ability to support complex technical escalations and provide architectural leadership. /liliExcellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /li /ulh3Preferred Certifications: /h3ulliCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) /liliCertified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) /liliCloud-native architecture certifications focused on Kubernetes design, resilience, and security /liliAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous /li /ulh3Language Requirement: /h3ullibGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory. /b /liliThe role requires the ability to participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, incident coordination, service reviews, change management activities, and day-to-day communication with German-speaking stakeholders, customers, and operational teams. /li /ulh3Citizenship Requirement: /h3ullibApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship. /b /li /ulh3Location: /h3ullibWinterthur area, Switzerland /b /liliCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within the Winterthur region to support customer engagement, operational alignment, coordination with onsite and remote-hands teams, and participation in architecture, governance, escalation, and service review meetings as required. /li /ulh3About NTT DATA /h3pNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune /ppGlobal 100.
