The role focuses on complex troubleshooting, control-plane operations, architecture validation, performance optimization, capacity planning, and the resolution of high-priority incidents. As a technical escalation point, you will guide L2 teams and contribute to the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of cloud platform services. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul lipProvide advanced administration and engineering support for OpenStack cloud platforms. /p /li lipLead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis across OpenStack services and infrastructure components. /p /li lipManage control-plane health, platform resilience, and operational readiness. /p /li lipSupport multi-region and multi-availability-zone (AZ) environments, ensuring reliable and scalable service delivery. /p /li lipValidate architecture designs and provide recommendations for performance, capacity, and operational improvements. /p /li lipAct as an escalation point for critical incidents and complex operational challenges. /p /li lipMentor and guide L2 engineers through advanced day-2 operational scenarios. /p /li lipDevelop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices. /p /li lipCollaborate with infrastructure, Linux, Kubernetes, networking, and storage teams to ensure end-to-end platform stability. /p /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul lipExtensive experience administering and supporting enterprise OpenStack environments. /p /li lipStrong expertise in OpenStack architecture, operations, and troubleshooting. /p /li lipSolid understanding of Linux systems, virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud infrastructure technologies. /p /li lipExperience with performance analysis, capacity planning, high availability, and platform resilience. /p /li lipProven ability to resolve complex technical issues and lead incident response activities. /p /li lipStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /p /li /ul h3Preferred Certifications /h3 ul lipAdvanced OpenStack platform certification /p /li lipRed Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) or equivalent cloud-focused certification /p /li lipCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) /p /li lipCertified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) /p /li lipAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous /p /li /ul h3Language Requirement /h3 ul lipbGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory. /b /p /li lipThe role requires the ability to participate in technical discussions, incident coordination, service reviews, change management activities, and day-to-day communication with German-speaking stakeholders, customers, and operational teams. /p /li /ul h3Citizenship Requirement /h3 ul lipbApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship. /b /p /li /ul h3Location /h3 ul lipbWinterthur area, Switzerland /b /p /li lipCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within the Winterthur region to support customer interactions, operational alignment, coordination with onsite and remote-hands teams, and participation in governance, escalation, and service review meetings as required. /p /li /ul h3About NTT DATA /h3 pNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune /p pGlobal 100.
