The role is responsible for maintaining stable and reliable cloud platform services through incident management, service requests, platform administration, health checks, and standard change activities while ensuring appropriate escalation of complex architectural or control-plane issues. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul lipAdminister and support OpenStack and Kubernetes/container platforms in a production environment. /p /li lipPerform day-2 operational activities, including incident resolution, service requests, health checks, and routine maintenance. /p /li lipTroubleshoot container runtime, platform, and infrastructure-related issues. /p /li lipExecute standard operational changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities following established procedures. /p /li lipMonitor platform performance, availability, and service health. /p /li lipMaintain operational documentation, procedures, and service records. /p /li lipCollaborate closely with Linux and baremetal infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end platform stability. /p /li lipEscalate complex issues to specialist engineering teams when deeper architecture or control-plane expertise is required. /p /li /ul h3Required Qualifications: /h3 ul lipExperience supporting OpenStack, Kubernetes, or container-based platforms in an enterprise environment. /p /li lipGood understanding of cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, Linux systems, and operational support processes. /p /li lipExperience with incident management, troubleshooting, monitoring, and service operations. /p /li lipStrong analytical skills and a proactive approach to maintaining service reliability. /p /li lipAbility to work within structured operational and service management frameworks. /p /li /ul h3Preferred Certifications: /h3 ul lipCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) /p /li lipCertified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) /p /li lipOpenStack administration training/certification (e.g., Red Hat OpenStack Platform Administration) /p /li lipAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous /p /li /ul h3Language Requirement: /h3 ul lipbGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory. /b /p /li lipThe role requires the ability to effectively participate in technical discussions, incident coordination, service reviews, change management activities, and day-to-day communication with German-speaking stakeholders, customers, and operational teams. /p /li /ul h3Citizenship Requirement: /h3 ul libApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship. /b /li /ul h3Location: /h3 ul lipbWinterthur area, Switzerland /b /p /li lipCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within, the Winterthur region to support customer engagement, operational coordination, onsite and remote-hands activities, governance meetings, and escalation management when required. /p /li /ul h3About NTT DATA /h3 pNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune /p pGlobal 100.
