Acting as the principal technical authority, this role governs cross-domain architecture, validates complex design decisions, mentors engineering teams, and supports critical escalations. The successful candidate will ensure that compute, network, storage, security, and cloud platform solutions remain integrated, resilient, scalable, and operationally supportable. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul lipProvide technical leadership and architectural governance across infrastructure, cloud, security, networking, storage, and compute domains. /p /li lipDefine and maintain enterprise design patterns, architecture standards, and operational best practices. /p /li lipReview and validate cross-domain technical decisions, ensuring alignment with business, security, and operational requirements. /p /li lipAct as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues, major incidents, and strategic infrastructure initiatives. /p /li lipMentor and guide L2 and L3 engineering teams, promoting knowledge sharing and technical excellence. /p /li lipEnsure infrastructure architectures are secure, resilient, scalable, and operationally sustainable. /p /li lipCollaborate with operational, engineering, and customer stakeholders to drive consistent technical direction. /p /li lipSupport governance forums, service reviews, architecture boards, and technical strategy discussions. /p /li lipMaintain architecture documentation, standards, roadmaps, and technical governance frameworks. /p /li /ul h3Required Qualifications: /h3 ul lipExtensive experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture and technical leadership roles. /p /li lipBroad expertise across multiple technology domains, including networking, security, compute, storage, virtualization, cloud, and container platforms. /p /li lipStrong understanding of architecture governance, service operations, resilience, high availability, and lifecycle management. /p /li lipProven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and resolve complex infrastructure challenges. /p /li lipExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills. /p /li lipExperience operating in large-scale, mission-critical enterprise environments. /p /li /ul h3Preferred Certifications: /h3 ul lipbTOGAF® /b or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification /p /li lipbITIL® 4 Managing Professional /b and/or bITIL® 4 Strategic Leader /b /p /li lipExpert-level domain certifications such as: /p /li lipCisco bCCIE /b (Enterprise Infrastructure or Data Center) /p /li lipbCKS /b (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist) /p /li lipFortinet bFCX /b / bFCSS /b /p /li lipbF5 Certified Solution Expert (F5-CSE) /b /p /li lipNetApp bNCIE /b /p /li lipbRed Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) /b /p /li lipAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous /p /li /ul h3Language Requirement: /h3 ul lipbGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory. /b /p /li lipThe role requires the ability to participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, incident coordination, governance forums, service reviews, change management activities, and day-to-day communication with German-speaking stakeholders, customer teams, operational contacts, and site personnel. /p /li /ul h3Citizenship Requirement: /h3 ul libApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship. /b /li /ul h3Location: /h3 ul lipbWinterthur area, Switzerland /b /p /li lipCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within the Winterthur region to support local operational alignment, customer engagement, coordination with onsite and remote-hands teams, and participation in governance, escalation, architecture, and service review meetings as required. /p /li /ul h3About NTT DATA /h3 pNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune /p pGlobal 100.
